A larger company wants to be the exclusive marketer and distributor of my software please advise.....? - software distributor
I need advice. I have a program that you want to distribute a large company with marketing skills more. You want to give me a little more for the software and "action" per month. What does this mean? They also want all the marketing and distribution rights for future versions. Anyone who has experience with this. Do you have Yahoo Messenger, I want more talk. Thank you.

I really need to talk to a lawyer to protect your rights, and that you represent. Do not try to negotiate their own way. The company is likely to retain their own lawyers and the sure to find the best deal you can get from you. When you sign contracts, then it is too late to assert his opinion, ignorance, or to change.
I think you need an attorney specializing in intellectual property rights. Ask him how to get the copyright of the program or the patent before the negotiations with each company.
Congratulations.
You have a problem with Nice.
It seems that you pay a portion of the purchase price and receive a part of regular maintenance / license fees they charge their retail customers.
They want to be very careful what kind of rights that are linked in their products.
We can discuss via e-mail if you want it
